Új terv az Európai Unió jövőjéről?

A tegnapi napon került nyilvánosságra egy olyan, francia-német hátterű megállapodás tervezete, ami az Európai Unió esetleges átalakításának lehetőségeit rajzolja fel.

Gyorsan el is terjedt, hogy ez sok mindenre alkalmas lehet, pl. kötözködő tagállamok megkerülésére – erről beszélgettünk tegnap este a Klubrádión. Kicsit próbáltam hűteni a kedélyeket, és egy reálisabb értelmezést adni a dolognak, kiemelve és elmagyarázva, hogy hol mi az, ami reális és mi az, ami nem.

A migrációs politika fejlődéséről a Klubrádión

Pénteken este került adásba a Klubrádión az aznap délelőtt rögzített “A világ urai” című műsor, amiben – végre komolyabb időbeli korlátok nélkül – beszélgettünk a migrációs politika európai uniós fejlődéséről, ezzel kapcsolatban a magyar kormány “megoldásairól”, és annak politikai aspektusairól.

Csak érdekességképpen, friss hír (amilyen ügyekre utaltam a beszélgetés során), hogy megint elkaszálták a kormányt Strasbourgban.

Some thoughts about the plans of the president of the European Council…

Charles Michel, the president of the European Council has addressed the participants of the prestigious Bled Strategic Forum. He is responsible for close cooperation with heads of states and governments of the EU member states, thus his ideas are worthy of attention as those presumably well-founded and formulated while understanding the positions of these leaders and their respective states.

I have prepared a short analysis of his speech to the C4EP Website (later to be included in its C4EPIECE Newsletter), trying to draw conclusions about the reality of those ideas and the possibility of implementing those during the time left of Michel’s term, ending in 2025.
